Jason

“Jason, let’s talk about this,” Sadie stutters, and finally I see the truth dawning on her face. It’s too late though. Sadie needs to learn that when she pushes buttons, there will be consequences.

“Bend over the bed, Sadie.”

“I won’t. You have to know this isn’t right, Jason. You’re not my dad—my guardian. You’re my stepbrother and not even that really, because our parents aren’t married yet. This is entirely inappropriate.”

I almost want to smile at the way she skirted around the word daddy. It’s not something I’ve ever wanted a woman to call me, but fuck if it doesn’t make me hard thinking about Sadie calling me that.

“Bend over the bed, Kitten. It’s time to pay for disrespecting me,” I warn her again, this becoming far more pleasurable than I thought it would. Sadie is a surprise and a really good one. I hate to admit it, but I’d become settled in my life, things had become boring. When I’m around Sadie it’s as if I’m energized. Things have more vibrancy, more color, more life.

“Jason,” Sadie murmurs, her large hazel eyes looking at me with a mixture of confusion and fear, maybe even panic. I’m an asshole, but I like it. I want her to know that I am the man who has boundaries, I’m also the man that eventually she will learn to trust enough to give herself to me.

I’m fairly sure Sadie is innocent and if not completely so, then at the very least, she hasn’t had experience with a man like me.

A man who wants to possess her.

A man who wants to own her body and soul.

Maybe it would be better for Sadie to go. Let her spread her wings and find a nice guy that will give her a picket fence, a couple of kids and… normal.

I’m not normal. I never have been, and with Sadie involved, I’m even less so. I’m also territorial as hell and somewhere in the midst of all of this, I’ve begun thinking of Sadie as mine. Which simply means, we’re both fucked.

I’m keeping her.

She still hasn’t made a move to give me what I want. I grab the back of her neck, pulling her to me. I do it roughly, it’s best for both of us that Sadie learns I’m not a gentle man. If I prove too much for her, I’d rather know it now as opposed to later. It doesn’t feel like I am though. In fact, everything inside of me is screaming that Sadie is the one.

“Jason,” she gasps as I bring her face in close to mine, our lips so close that even though they’re not touching, I can feel her breath feather out against my skin.

“You behaved like a spoiled child today, Sadie, and I’m going to show you what happens when you choose to misbehave.”

“Misbehave? Jase, please listen to me you sound like—”

“A man,” I whisper. “I sound like the man in charge of you, sweet Sadie,” I add, placing a small kiss on her temple.
